Common symptoms of lead poisoning can include headaches, stomach aches, irritability, fatigue, loss of appetite, and joint or muscle pain. Lead Dust Problems

    Lead Hazards for Children

    Lead Poisoning Symptoms

Why are lead dust and debris a problem? Renovation activities that disturb lead-based paint create dust and debris, which can lead to serious health risks. This lead-based dust is poisonous, and even very small amounts of lead-contaminated dust can poison both children and adults. Workers may unknowingly bring lead-contaminated dust home, posing a lead poisoning prevention risk to their families. Unfortunately, this dangerous dust is often invisible to the naked eye. Vacuuming can make it airborne, while sweeping merely pushes these poisonous, unseen particles around. To effectively address these concerns, it’s essential to implement lead paint hazard solutions and ensure homes are lead safe. Consulting with a lead safe pro can help in maintaining a safe environment.
